In the irresistibly sexy series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout, two free spirits find their lives changed by a one-night stand…

Some things you just believe in, even if you’ve never experienced them. For Stephanie, that list includes love. It’s out there. Somewhere. Eventually. Meanwhile she’s got her job at the mixed martial arts training center and hot flings with gorgeous, temporary guys like Nick. Then a secret brings them closer, opening Steph’s eyes to a future she never knew she wanted—until tragedy rips it away.

Nick’s self-assured surface shields a past no one needs to know about. His mind-blowing connection with Steph changes all that. As fast as he’s knocking down the walls that have kept him commitment-free, she’s building them up again, determined to keep the hurt—and Nick—out. But he can’t walk away. Not when she’s the only one who’s ever made him wish for forever . . .

I’m so happy that I was able to see more of Nick in this book.I really would have loved it if I could have read from Nick’s POV.  We finally figure out why Nick os so quiet. I really loved it when I found out that he takes care of his grandfather almost everyday that he isn’t at work. We also find out that he and his family are connected to Calla  in some sort of way. I wasn’t really interested in Steph’s POV. I found her to be quite boring and annoying. Nothing that she did or said was even remotely interesting. There’s not much else that I can say about this book without spoiling it, so I’m just going to leave it at that.

My rating for this book is 3.5 out of 5 stars. I found the book to be kind of boring. The only interesting thing that happened was when Avery and Cam finally got married, which we all knew was going to happen after reading the first book. I’m not going to lie, I am quite sick of Jennifer’s use of the work “Awesome”. I find it to be childish. Plus, one moment the characters will sound their age, 25 or so, and the next moment they sound like they’re 5 years old. It’s annoying and it happens in all of her books. If you want to know more of my thoughts, check out my video review of it!

The last book in this series is Fire in You and comes out in October of this year.
