I was on Tumblr today, just goofing around and decided to go to the BookTube News blog. While I was on there, I saw a video titled the A to Z Book Survey by bookishandnerdy and I loved it so I decided to do it also. Of course, I do not have a camera available to me, so I will just be typing this and just secretly hoping that someone will read it and comment on it. This survey was originally created by Jamie from PerpetualPageTurner.com. Go check out Jamie’s site and Jillian’s YouTube channel. They’re both awesome.
Author you’ve read the most books from:
This was actually pretty hard to figure out, so I went over to my Goodreads and it turns out that the author is Cecily von Ziegesar. I’ve read every single Gossip Girl book, The It Girl, and also Gossip Girl: The Carlyles. All of that is a total of 27 books.
Best Sequel Ever:
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Angelfall By Susan Ee
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Just water. I don’t really want to make a huge fuss about it.
E-reader or Physical Book?
Physical book. It’s so much better to actually have a book in your hand.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
I’m currently still in high school, but I would totally date Connor Drake from The Drake Chronicles. He’s nerdy and adorable. I love it!!!
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
City of Bones By Cassandra Clare. I Remember picking this up book 3 years ago and got a little grossed out by Jace and Clary, so I put it down for a week then went back to. Glad I read it, because now, I‘m obsessed with everything Cassandra Clare writes.
Hidden Gem Book:
Switched by Amanda Hocking
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Finding out about BookTubers. I’m really glad to find out about BookTubers, because it’s nice to know that there are actually a lot of people who love books just as much as I do.
Frigid By J. Lynn
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
I’m actually not sure actually. I try to read a little bit of everything. I guess historical fiction. I wasn’t really a big fan of history. It bores me so don’t put it in fiction books.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K Rowling (870 pages)
Major book hangover because of:
The Elite by Kiera Cass
Number of Bookcases You Own:
3. One tall, two short.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
Boy Toy by Barry Lyga
Preferred Place To Read:
At the kitchen table.
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
“To love is to destroy, and that to be loved is to be the one destroyed.” City of Bones
Tigers Curse By Colleen Houck
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
The Luxe Series By Anna Godbersen and the Morganville Vampires Series by Rachel Caine. I have 4 more books to go.
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare, The Hobbit By J.R.R Tolkien and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling.
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. I am a Shadowhunter.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
City of Heavenly Fire and Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
Worst Bookish Habit:
I tend to have book commitment issues. An example is when I come home from the library, I’ll go on Goodreads and say that I’m “Currently Reading” a few books, but won’t read a single book on the list. I get distracted and read others that aren’t on the list.
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson
Your latest book purchase:
Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight By Sarah J. Mass
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter
